    April 3, 2020
My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
These are uncertain and difficult times. Both government and Church officials are offering recommendations designed to limit contact in order to limit transmission of the virus. As you all know Archbishop Gustavo extended the original decree given on March 31, 2020 to remain in effect until April 30, 2020. Both decrees can be viewed and heard on our parish website.
I am writing this letter to you at this time to remind you that am united in prayer with all of you, especially the sick, all those suffering and all those from our parish families that are faced with a death of a loved one during this time.
As our physical gatherings and opportunities for personal face-to-face communication are being limited, now more than ever we will be using the means of digital and social communication platforms to communicate with our parishioners. Please continue to monitor our parish website and our parish Facebook for the latest news. During the "Stay Home, Stay Safe" mandate the parish office will be able to respond to phone calls and emails. If you have any questions, please call our parish office at 830-609-5320 between the hours of 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm or email us at holyfamily@satx.rr.com
We will do all we can to be bring the Masses to your home. The Holy Week Schedule will be posted here on the website.
Please use this time to draw close to Jesus in prayer, silence, reflection and meditation. If you have children, please pray with them and exercise patience.  All this will pass … and we can become better, stronger and more faithful if we use this time to grow closer to God.
Please pray that this outbreak comes to a swift end, and that our longing for the Eucharist be deepened and sustained even after Masses resume as usual. God is with us!  Do not be afraid.  We are all in this together! God bless you all!
Jesus, Mary and Joseph, pray for us

Pastor, Rev. Ralainirina Francois Rakotovoavy, MSF

  • The Holy Family Prayer

Jesus, Son of God and Son of Mary, bless our family. Graciously inspire in us the unity, peace, and mutual love that you found in your own family in the little town of Nazareth.
Mary, Mother of Jesus and our Mother, nourish our family with your faith and your love.
Keep us close to your Son, Jesus,
in all our sorrows and joys.
Joseph, Foster-father to Jesus, guardian spouse of Mary, keep our family safe from harm.
Help us in all times of discouragement and anxiety.

Holy Family of Nazareth, make our family one with you. Help us to be instruments of peace. Grant that love strengthen by grace, may prove mightier than all the weaknesses and trials through which our family sometimes pass. May we always have God at the center of our hearts and homes until we are one family, happy and at peace in our true home with you. Amen
