We welcome more help in providing music during liturgy. If you would like to sing or know how to play an instrument and would like to get involved in the parish music ministry please contact the parish office. 830-609-5320
Altar Servers offer service to God and the community by assisting the priest during Mass. The ministry is open to all youth of the parish who have made their First Communion and whose parents believe they are ready and responsible enough to be trained. Training in the specifics of the ministry is provided throughout the year. Servers are assigned on a rotating schedule.
Altar Servers should be attending Mass regularly and attending Religious Education and Youth Program. Be active and participating in the parish. All who have received the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion are eligible to become an Altar Server.
Ushers work in teams of at least six serving. As ministers of hospitality, ushers welcome individuals and families to help them feel welcomed and comfortable in the worshipping environment. They open doors for the people, greet and welcome all as they arrive, hand out bulletins to the families as they leave, assist with communion traffic flow and ensure that Gift Bearers are available and monetary gifts are collected. Ushers assistance the priest and the people during the mass and also in the case of any emergencies. Adults and high school students are welcome to serve. Training is provided.

Liturgical ministry is an excellent opportunity to fulfill your baptismal call of service to one another. Our liturgies should utilize the talents and gifts that God has given this community to the fullest extent. Whether participation is through “behind the scenes” preparation and planning or through a public role of service within the Mass, parishioner contributions help our liturgies to be truly life-giving celebrations. Please prayerfully consider joining one of these ministries.
